...Glorify God: We want God to be glorified and each camper edified during this week of camp. To this end, we keep God's word of grace central to all that we do at camp. Our classes together with the chapels, campfires, personal and cabin devotions are the main reason for Bible camp.
... And Enjoy Him:
Camp is also about having fun! Christian fellowship, fresh air, fun-filled activities, a small beach for water games, and just plain enjoying God's creation are the goal for every day. Afternoon activities supply physical exercise and evening specials give plenty of time for fellowship. The evenings include skits, crafts, games and Bible One Camp
... Many Faces:
Camp is for youth who have completed the 4th through 12th grade. It is a challenge to engage all these ages, so we have established multiple camps within one camp. However, all meals and evening campfires are shared by all ages of campers.
... Junior Campers:
The Juniors spend most of the day learning and playing together in their own age group. Their morning is structured much like VBS format along with a chapel and singing time. They have a midday cabin rest period before enjoying afternoon organized activates.
... Senior Campers:
The Seniors likewise have their own camp structure. Their morning is devoted to Bible classes, chapel and singing. Although there are plenty of organized activities, there is more free time built into their afternoon and early evening
... 11th and 12th day away:
The 11th and 12th graders and their counselors will have one afternoon to themselves as they travel to Pactola Lake. The activity fosters even more fun and fellowship for those who are about to be college bound. There they will spend the day on the lake tubing and doing other various activities together as a group, as well as enjoying an evening meal together. schedules.
... Sunday Worship:
All campers come together for a morning worship service and then divide into their age groups for Sunday School. An offering is received and designated to either a missions project or to our respective presbyteries.
...Sunday Afternoon:
On Sunday afternoon we have counselor led cabin activities. This time is used to build a sense of community within each cabin group. Campers may want to work on a Bible skit for talent night, practice a group musical number, spend time to get better acquainted or maybe take a quiet afternoon outing. Counselors are in charge of leading this time for each cabin group.
... Sunday EveningTalent Show:
In the evening we have a talent show. We encourage campers to use the gifts God has given them to bring glory to His name. There will be opportunities for sharing musical talent, putting together a skit as a cabin, or to act out a Bible story with friends.
...Off Campus Activities:
We spend one afternoon hiking (or riding) to Mount Rushmore. We also give the campers a choice between the water park or other venue on one afternoon. Other activities may be determined by camp staff.
...WHAT TO BRING:
Bible, notebook, pens, spending money, personal articles, sleeping bag, towels, modest bathing suit, jacket or sweatshirt, a ready mind and open heart.
